One tired dog. Three big adventures. Otto is an ordinary office dog with an ordinary little life — sorting papers all day and dreaming of something more. Then, one grey evening, a glowing jungle billboard seems to call his name… What follows are three daring tales. Otto outsmarts a giant LION deep in the jungle. He befriends the mysterious “ghost” haunting the LIBRARY at midnight. And he leads his friends to safety through a wild mountain STORM. Otto isn’t the biggest. He isn’t the bravest. But he knows the most important secret of all: being scared — and doing the right thing anyway — is what makes a true hero. Three funny, heart-warming chapter stories about courage, kindness, and one very good dog. Perfect for reading aloud or for brave young readers aged 6–9. Book 1 of Otto’s Amazing Adventures.

Excerpt
Otto was a golden retriever with a golden heart, and the most ordinary little life you ever did see. Every morning: the alarm. Every day: the papers, sorted into tidy, sensible piles. Every evening: the long grey walk home, past the same grey buildings, under the same grey sky. "Work is important," Otto told his tie each morning, straightening it just so. But deep down in his doggy heart, something was missing. Something big. Something that smelled faintly of rain and leaves and faraway places. Then, one ordinary grey evening, it happened. A billboard flickered to life across the street — a jungle, green and glowing, wild and warm. Vines curled. A river sparkled. And there, in letters bright as sunrise, were two words Otto was quite sure hadn't been there a moment before: OTTO. COME. His tail gave one small, hopeful wag. "That's not for me," he said. "That's silly. Dogs sort papers. Dogs do not go to jungles." But the jungle glowed a little brighter, as if it disagreed. And Otto — ordinary, tired, papers-in-tidy-piles Otto — felt his heart begin to thump like a drum. TAILS UP. From Otto’s Amazing Adventures
